Why Plotz exists
Going out is supposed to be spontaneous - but planning quietly kills it. Great deals exist, yet they're buried in newsletters nobody opens and never surface the moment you're actually ready to go. Meanwhile bars and restaurants sit half-empty on slow nights, with no fast way to reach the people who'd happily fill a table. Plotz closes that gap from both sides.
How deals work
Venues post time-boxed deals - happy hours, prix-fixe nights, off-peak menus. You claim one in a tap and get a QR voucher (with a backup code), then show up and redeem it in person. Going with friends? Share a join code so everyone grabs a seat at the same table.
How we choose bars & restaurants
We're starting with a small, hand-picked set of partner bars and restaurants in NYC - places we'd actually go with our own friends. Every deal is posted by the venue and limited by time or seats, so it's real while it lasts. No generic coupons. If it isn't a deal we'd claim ourselves, it doesn't go up.
